Renunciation of Singapore Permanent Residence

If you wish to renounce your Singapore Permanent Residence (PR), please submit your application online via the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority website here. For detailed information on the procedure and softcopies to be prepared for uploading, please refer to the instructions here. For general enquiry on your application, please submit your query to ICA_REP@ica.gov.sg.

Kindly note that only existing Singapore Permanent Residents shall submit for PR renunciation.  If you have remained overseas without a valid Re-Entry Permit (REP), you will be considered to have lost your PR status, will not be required to apply for renunciation of PR.  If you require a verification letter stating that you are no longer a Singapore PR, please submit your request here.

You will be informed by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority once your Permanent Residency has been successfully renounced. No fee will be charged for the renunciation of PR.
