Application for ASEAN Scholarships for Vietnam Academic Year 2023

Applications are now open for the ASEAN Scholarships for Vietnam, Academic Year 2023.

               The ASEAN Scholarships aim to provide opportunities for the young people of ASEAN to broaden their horizons and develop their potential as well as equip them with important skills such as leadership, communication and other life skills.  The ASEAN Scholarship for Vietnam is valid for 4 years for studies in selected Singapore schools from Secondary Three to Pre-University Two leading to the award of a Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (GCE A-Level) or similar.  The Scholarship will provide an annual allowance with hostel accommodation; settling-in allowance; return economy class air passage; school fees and GCE O-Level and A-Level examination fees (once only, if applicable); subsidised medical benefits and accident insurance coverage.

Interested students who meet the following eligibility criteria are strongly encouraged to apply online at the SingaporeeMinistry of Education (MOE) website: https://go.gov.sg/moe-asean-scholarships-vietnam by 29 April 2022.

• Are nationals of Vietnam;

• Are born on 2 January 2006 to 1 January 2009;

• Currently in Grade 8, 9 or 10;

• Have done consistently well in their examinations; and

• Are proficient in English and have a good record of participation in co-curricular activities.
