APPLICATION FOR ASEAN SCHOLARSHIP FOR VIETNAM

ACADEMIC YEAR 2025

Calling all Vietnamese high school/secondary students currently in Grades 8 to 10! Ever thought of studying in Singapore? The ASEAN Scholarship for Vietnam, Academic Year 2025 is now open! 

Administered by the Ministry of Education (MOE) of the Republic of Singapore, the Scholarship aims to create opportunities for outstanding young people from ASEAN countries to broaden their horizons and develop important skills such as leadership, communication and other life skills. ASEAN scholars can also help to promote goodwill and understanding among young people from different countries and Singapore.

The Scholarship is valid for four years for studies in selected Singapore schools from Secondary Three to Pre-University Two leading to the Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (GCE A-Level) or similar qualification.  The Scholarship will provide an annual allowance with hostel accommodation; settling-in allowance; return economy airfare; school fees; examination fees for GCE O-Level and A-Level (once only, if applicable); subsidised medical benefits and insurance coverage for accidents.

  • Are nationals of Vietnam;

  • Are born between 2 January 2008 and 1 January 2011;

  • Are proficient in English;

  • Currently in Grade 8, 9 or 10;

  • Have done consistently well in school examinations; and

  • Have a good record of participation in co-curricular activities.

Shortlisted candidates will need to attend selection tests. Those who performed well at the selection tests will be invited to the selection interview. For more information on the Scholarship and application procedures, please refer to the Singapore MOE’s website.
