EMBASSY CLOSURE FROM 16 TO 20 FEBRUARY 2026 FOR TET
The Embassy will be closed from 16 to 20 February 2026 in observance of the 2026 Tet Holidays. We will resume operations on 23 February 2026.
A gentle reminder that the Vietnam government offices will also be closed from 16 to 20 February 2026. In the event of lost passports, the Embassy will only issue new Documents of Identity (DOI) (for applicants’ return to Singapore) after we resume operations on 23 February 2026. This is given that Singaporeans will only be able to submit their DOI to the Vietnam Immigration Office for their exit permit applications when the government offices reopen on 23 February 2026. Please note that the Vietnam Immigration Office’s usual processing time for exit permit applications is at least 5 working days.
