Pre-Arrival Declaration for Foreign Travellers Entering Vietnam
25 June 2026
Vietnam’s Immigration Department has launched a pre-arrival information declaration for all foreign travellers entering Vietnam via major airports, including Noi Bai Airport in Ha Noi, Tan Son Nhat Airport in Ho Chi Minh City, and airports in Da Nang, Nha Trang and Phu Quoc.
Foreign visitors are encouraged to complete the declaration upon arrival or not more than three days before arrival for a smooth immigration process. Travellers may submit the declaration through https://prearrival.immigration.gov.vn/ or scan the QR code provided by the Immigration Department below. Once the declaration is completed, the system will generate a confirmation QR code. Travellers are advised to save the confirmation QR code on their mobile devices or print it out for convenient use at immigration. Travellers are reminded to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all submitted information.
The Vietnamese authorities have strongly advised foreign visitors to complete the pre-arrival declaration to avoid longer waiting time at immigration checkpoints. Travellers should complete the declaration ahead of your arrival to minimise congestion and speed up entry procedures.
