The Vietnam – Singapore Training Centre (VSTC) will be hosting a training course on Effective Negotiation Skills from 25 February to 1 March 2013 in Hanoi. The course, conducted by Mr Peter Phan Kim Huat from the Ngee Ann Polytechnic, is sponsored by the Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the framework of the Initiative for ASEAN Integration (IAI).
2 The training course will introduce government officials to the basic principles and process of negotiation. By the end of the course, participants will be able to understand and identify basic negotiation styles and approaches and be able to apply suitable techniques and strategies for effective negotiation.
3 The course will be attended by 30 officials, including some from the provinces such as Quang Ninh, Ninh Binh, Ha Tinh, Binh Dinh and Kien Giang. Officials from ministries such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Planning and Investment are also joining the course.
