VSTC Foundation Course on Export Promotion and Trade Facilitation, 10 to 14 June 2013, in Hanoi

           The Vietnam – Singapore Training Centre (VSTC) will be hosting a Foundation Course on Export Promotion and Trade Facilitation from 10 June to 14 June 2013 in Hanoi.   The course, conducted by International Business Dynamics Pte, is sponsored by the Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the framework of the Initiative for ASEAN Integration (IAI). 



2         During this course, participants will be introduced to the concepts of export promotion and trade facilitation, to understand their relevance to a country’s economic development.  Examples will be drawn from Singapore as well as other Asian countries.



3         The course will be attended by officials from various agencies such as the Ministry of Industry and Trade, General Department of Vietnam Customs, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Vietnam Cooperative Alliance, and the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam.  Officials from Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong and Vinh Phuc will also participate in the course.
