Temporary Translator/Interpreter/Research Assistant
The Embassy of the Republic of Singapore in Hanoi would like to invite suitable Vietnamese nationals to apply for a 6-month temporary position of a translator/interpreter/research assistant at the Embassy.
Responsibilities
Translate documents and other materials from Vietnamese to English and vice versa.
Perform interpretation for staff at the Singapore Embassy.
Monitor local media coverage and collate published materials (Vietnamese and English).
Coordinate and conduct research work as assigned by the Embassy.
Assist in other administrative duties including official visits and events organised by the Embassy.
Applicant should possess the following qualifications:
Good command of English (spoken and written).
University degree with relevant experience.
Reasonable IT and Microsoft applications knowledge. Knowledge on how to use software to present data would be beneficial
Experience in translation/interpretation/research work would be beneficial.

Copies of academic qualifications, including diplomas and transcript
Copies of all relevant certifications/qualifications to support your resume, including TOELF iBT, TOEIC, IELTS results etc.
