Recruitment of Translator/Interpreter/Research Assistant

The Embassy of the Republic of Singapore in Hanoi would like to invite suitable Vietnamese nationals to apply for a position of a translator/interpreter/research assistant at the Embassy.

Responsibilities

• Translate documents and other materials from Vietnamese to English and vice versa.

• Perform interpretation for staff at the Singapore Embassy.

• Monitor local media coverage and collate published materials (Vietnamese and English).

• Coordinate and conduct research work as assigned by the Embassy.

• Assist in other administrative duties including official visits and events organised by the Embassy.

Applicant should possess the following qualifications:

• Good command of English (spoken and written).

• University degree with relevant experience.

• Reasonable IT and Microsoft applications knowledge. Knowledge on how to use software to present data would be beneficial

• Experience in translation/interpretation/research work would be beneficial.
