Closure of the Singapore Embassy in Hanoi from Friday, 20 January 2023 to Thursday, 26 January 2023

NOTIFICATION
The Embassy will be closed on Friday, 20 January 2023 and Thursday, 26 January 2023 in observance of Tet Holiday 2023.
The Embassy will reopen on Friday, 27 January 2023.
A reminder that the Vietnam government offices will also be closed from Friday, 20 January 2023 to Thursday, 26 January 2023. In the event of lost passport, the Embassy will only issue new Documents of Identity (for return to Singapore) when we resume operations on 27 January 2023, given that Singaporeans will only be able to submit this to the Vietnam Immigration Office for their exit permit application when the offices reopen on 27 January 2023. Please note that the Vietnam Immigration Office's usual processing time for exit permit application is at least 5 working days.
